At TaxCare, our mission is to empower homeowners by providing expert property tax abatement services that ensure fair assessments and real savings. We are committed to delivering transparent, results-driven advocacy-charging no fee unless we reduce your taxes.
Tax abatement is the process of reducing your property taxes if your home has been overassessed. Many homeowners don't realize they may be paying more than they should. TaxCare helps lower your annual taxes by reviewing your homes value, comparing to similar properties, and filing on your behalf.

Please reach us at info@residentialtaxcare.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We review home sales, compare them to your assessed value, and file the necessary paperwork to request a reduction. We also look into any tax relief programs or exemptions you might qualify for, such as senior exemptions. You don't have to lift a finger - we handle it all.
Many towns don’t advertise the abatement process, and most homeowners aren't aware they have the right to challenge their assessment . That's where TaxCare comes in, we make the process easy and accessible.
We only charge a fee if we sucessfully reduce your taxes. If we don't save you money, you pay nothing. If we save you money, we will charge you 35% of your savings. For example, if we save you $100 on your annual taxes, we will charge you $35.
If your abatement request is denied, we will file an appeal with the Appellate Tax Board on your behalf - if eligible. If an appeal isn't applicable or pursued, you owe us nothing. We only get paid when you do.
Once you provide us with some basic information, we handle everything - researching comps, preparing documentation, and submitting your appeal to your town's assessor. You'll be updated throughout the process.
In most Massachusetts towns, you must apply between January 1st - February 1st. We recommend you apply for a free assessment by December 1st.
